I work for Global Frontier Missions, a missionary training agency, providing pre-field training for missionary candidates. I specifically focus on “Heart Training”, helping our students grow in two main areas: 1) How to better abide with God in the midst of the stresses of cross-cultural ministry, and 2) How to better love “the other”; those around you, and especially those who are different from you. And if that makes me sound like a super-Christian, don’t be fooled… I ALWAYS need that Heart Training at least as much as my students!

I did my undergraduate work at the University of Georgia, graduating with a degree in philosophy in 2009. I received a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2018.

I’ve been married since 2014 to my wonderful wife, Kelsey, and we have two children, Jack and Arden.

I’m still a work in progress. Thankfully, He is faithful to finish what He has started in me! (Phil 1:6)
